About Winona Forever

Tucked along the lively stretch of Parnell Road, Winona Forever brings a fresh and easygoing energy to Auckland’s café scene. The moment you step inside, the space feels bright, modern, and welcoming without trying too hard. Locals drift in for their morning coffee, friends settle into long brunch catch-ups, and visitors quickly notice why this café has become such a popular stop in the neighborhood. With its relaxed atmosphere and stylish setup, Winona Forever creates the kind of place where people naturally want to stay a little longer. The outdoor seating area adds even more charm, especially on sunny Auckland mornings when the street feels alive with movement and conversation.

The menu keeps things balanced and approachable, which makes Winona Forever appealing to different tastes and dining styles. Whether someone wants a quick bite before work or a slower dine-in experience, the café handles both effortlessly. Coffee is clearly one of the highlights here, served with the kind of care café lovers appreciate, while the food selection leans toward fresh, colorful, and satisfying options. Health-conscious diners will notice thoughtful choices across the menu, including vegan options and vegetarian-friendly dishes that still feel hearty and flavorful rather than overly simple. Small plates also work well for sharing, especially when paired with a glass of wine or a cold beer during a relaxed afternoon visit.

Another thing that makes Winona Forever stand out is how naturally it blends casual café culture with a more polished dining feel. You can grab takeaway on a busy day or sit comfortably with friends and enjoy the easy rhythm of the space. The onsite service feels warm and efficient, helping the café maintain a welcoming flow even during busy brunch hours. For anyone exploring Auckland’s café scene, Winona Forever offers that mix of quality coffee, fresh food, and laid-back atmosphere that keeps people returning regularly to Parnell Road.

A very small nice and popular cafe in the city! Good customer service and tasty food! The crab and chilli scrambled eggs, savoury croissants and desserts which are a part of cabinet food are amazing! The coffee.. especially Mocha is delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

Their food from both menu and cabinet are nice in a decent amount. I could feel a vibrant atmosphere of Parnell area in this cafe. Staff were ok but I should often wait to get their attention maybe because they are busy.

Great selection of cabinet food with plenty to choose from. I tried the cheese and chive scone—packed with flavour and (I swear) a hint of sweet chilli or chutney that made it extra wonderful. My coffee was consistent and great—I enjoyed it so much I had two. The space is cool, busy, and popular, with loads of seating. Only downside: there wasn’t much customer service, so the experience felt a little impersonal.

Really enjoyed this place. Got the big breakfast (pictured) and a cappuccino. Couldn't fault anything, although note that the online menu hasn't been updated to reflect the menu in person. Prices are reasonable too and the food was delicious.

Came here for breakfast with my partner. The inside looks great and the food is even better! There’s a menu and foods on display. I saw a falafel salad that I wanted but unfortunately it wasn’t vegan friendly. The chef came over to me to say she can make a vegan version from scratch. I really appreciated this and it was absolutely delicious. My partner got a chicken curry filo that he loved and we got two fresh apple juices. This all came to $41. A bargain if you ask me!

First time breakfast with eggs bene and veges. Wasn't expecting that. Reasonably quick to bring food out but no communication, smile or cheery persona. Lovely place.

Absolutely devine! Staff were great and the food was amazing! We ordered the pancakes and the chicken tower and what a treat! The pancakes were fluffy and beautiful. Lots of fruits that were fresh and taste so great. The maple syrup that came with it complimented the dish so well. The chicken dish was cooked well and the salad additions made for a beautiful bite to eat everytime. The matcha latte and flat white perfect aswell. Beautiful place to start the day! 100% recommend. They know how what they’re doing! Well done Winona Forever team!

I’ve been staying in Parnell for a while and have tried breakfast at nearly every café around, but Winona Forever easily takes the crown. The vibe, the food, everything just clicks. I ordered the K Pop Pork Benedict — slow-cooked Korean glazed pork belly with roasted apple, fennel, poached eggs, and apple cider hollandaise on milk brioche. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the portion was generous. Every bite had so much flavour and texture. If I could tweak one thing, I’d go with sourdough instead of brioche, since the dish is already quite rich. But honestly, that’s me being picky. Easily one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in Auckland — can’t wait to try more
